The programme
The Masquerini long weekend
Clean Monday is a public holiday in Greece. In Katerini we no longer call it the Clean Monday weekend: it is the Masquerini weekend.

Your group will walk the Passarella!
The Passarella starts at the entrance of the Park of Colours and ends in the heart of the Street Party, where Georgaki Olympiou, Solomou and Agias Lavras streets meet. Over 200 people paraded in 2026. For 2027 we are aiming for 1,000.
Travel agency groups:
- take part with no minimum number of people
- parade in their own zone within the parade. Smaller parties join a group we form especially for agencies
- parade in costume. Costumes are required, but they don’t have to follow the year’s theme
- register by 10 February 2027 at info@masquerini.gr

- Direct trains from Athens, Larissa and Thessaloniki. The station is 2.4 km from the centre, with a city bus every 15 minutes.
