Where to stand

The Passarella crosses the centre of Katerini from the entrance of the Park of Colours to Agias Lavras. Seven hundred metres, about nine minutes on foot — though the parade itself takes a good deal longer.

At Parmenionos it turns down Partheniou Vardaka, then climbs to finish on Agias Lavras, inside the Street Party zone. 700 metres in all, about 9 minutes on foot. Step by step

The four legs of the route

  1. Park of Colours

    The parade sets off from the entrance of the Park of Colours, where the floats and the crews gather and line up.

  2. Androutsou

    The parade turns onto Androutsou and runs its full length eastwards — the long leg, where most of the crowd stands.

  3. Parmenionos

    At Parmenionos the route turns and heads south-east, down Partheniou Vardaka.

  4. Agias Lavras

    One last climb and the finish on Agias Lavras — inside the Street Party zone, where the parade turns into the party.
