Terms of participation

The terms you accept when you enter a group in the parade or apply as a volunteer.

Passarella terms of participation

Parade rules

  1. Each group needs at least 25 people.
  2. Each group needs a name and a costume theme of its own. There is no limit on the theme.
  3. A float is optional, motorised or not.
  4. Small groups of fewer than 25 people, organised or not, may follow the route at the tail of the parade, without an entry form, once the registered groups have all set off.

Personal data

By submitting this form, I declare that I agree with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC. Once the event is over, the personal data will be kept for two years and then deleted.

Volunteer programme terms

By applying to the volunteer programme you accept that:

  1. There is no employment or service relationship between me and the organising authority. I am not part of its paid staff or of its external associates and therefore I have no claim or right against it.
  2. I have no claim to any payment or other compensation from the organising authority arising from undertaking the work described above or from my voluntary contribution to it.
  3. In the work in which I take part voluntarily, the organising authority may credit me by name, if I so wish and following a declaration from me.
  4. The material the organising authority provides to me in order to carry out the work I undertake, as well as the results and products arising from it, belong solely and exclusively to the Municipality, and therefore I hold no right whatsoever (including intellectual property rights) to use, publish, sell or otherwise dispose of them.
  5. While carrying out the voluntary work I undertake, I am obliged to keep to the timeframes set for me and to follow the relevant instructions and directions given to me.
  6. I have no other right or claim against the organising authority or against the contractor managing the event.

Personal data

The personal and other data entered in this application will be held in the records of the Deputy Mayor’s Office for Culture and Tourism. They will not be used for any purpose other than voluntary participation in Masquerini 2027, and no third party will have access to them, in accordance with the applicable provisions and in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Greek Law 4624/2019.
